Happiest Friday to everyone! I hope you are all in good health & enjoying summer. 

Thanks to all of you, today was my last day as an apartment manager! It is bitter sweet. But mostly sweet :)

1. Pledge surveys coming next week (Expect them Wednesday)

Next week, we will be sending out an email via Backerkit where you’ll be able to confirm your shipping address, select your desired bookwallet(s) and add bookwallets/other items to your original Kickstarter pledge. Keep an eye out for an email from Backerkit this next Wednesday :)

2. Here are the Available Add-on Items that you can select in the survey! (special Kickstarter pricing):

•  More bookwallets! 28 total covers to choose from. You will be able to purchase them at the same discount you pledged for. See our full library of bookwallets on our website here. (Scroll to bottom of page)
• Poster of Dracula by Bram Stoker (Matte, 11 x 17")
• Magnets of the most popular covers (2 x 3")
• Beet stickers, Novel logo stickers, Beet magnets (various sizes)

3. SO, Check out the finished covers 😍

 If it looks disproportionate it's because this is the layout we use for production, and there are technical printing reasons for why there are huge margins. Just ignore proportions and soak in the aesthetic.

Backed by popular demand, we have switched to the alternate Monte Cristo cover. I am sorry for all you OG Cover lovers. This is a hybrid-regime, an electoral authoritarianism of sorts. The popular vote prevailed.

Wow I cannot wait to hold these gems in my hands.. 

4. In terms of production, we put our deposit down and our manufacturer is purchasing the raw materials. We are also finalizing the final draft of the bookwallet before we go into mass production. I am excited to send pictures of the process.

Important Update! Surveys? / Pre Ordering still possible / Little Prince Copyrighted in France / Pending Charges / WE NEED Your Vote and Opinion

Hey book-lovers, 

A few updates for you! This update has some girth... but I would rather over-communicate!

1. For people you know who missed us on Kickstarter, Novel bookwallets can still be pre ordered through this link here! 

2. If you are a resident of France, you are not able to select the Little Prince cover. I am sorry that this is coming late. I cannot legally offer you "The Little Prince" book cover because it is still under copyright in France. :( I know a lot of you would prefer the French version as well. We are seeking to work with the publishers and perhaps do a royalty deal with them. I totally understand if you would like to withdraw your pledge. Please message me on Kickstarter if that is the case. 

3. SO Kickstarter has charged you for the bookwallets, and is finalizing the funds as I write this. This takes some time because some payments did not go through. Kickstarter is waiting for some of you to update your payment information, so please check to ensure you pledge went through! I will be messaging all of those who's payments did not go through. 

4. Once Kickstarter completes this process, I will receive a final list of all of the pledges that went through, and I will send out the surveys! I am anticipating this will occur within the next week and a half.

5. The designs of the final covers you all unlocked are being produced right now! In the next update I will show the designs to you. (: A hint of what they will look like is pictured below :) 

6. We are wanting to gauge what the most popular book covers are so we can offer some fun add-on's in the survey. SO please vote in the comments your top 3 favorite covers. (I know you have not seen the newest ones yet, so see the photos below for an idea). We may not get everyone in this vote, but it will definitely give us a good forecast. 

7. Lastly if you made it this far, (lol) I found an alternate Count of Monte Cristo book cover that I wanted your opinion on.  Just say in the comments if you prefer it to the current one. Both are below.

1. Thank you so much for supporting the first edition of Novel bookwallets.  The response to these bookwallets has been overwhelming, and we are humbled and grateful for your support. Thank you for your kindness! We are going to do everything we can to surprise and delight you with these bookwallets - as well as get them to you quickly and professionally.

 2. Check your emails or check our Kickstarter page for updates! The most important thing you need to know now, is that in the coming weeks there will be a survey email sent to you. In that survey you will select your desired bookwallet(s), finalize your shipping address & claim any additional bookwallets. Your card will be charged after we gather the survey details. SO please keep an eye out for the post-campaign survey as we approach our estimated ship-date. 

3. I never doubted you Wizard of Oz lovers... more details to come on the Oz book cover. Just know, it will be available for selection! 

4. Look! Some fun magnets & stickers. 3,000 of each... (I ordered them when there was only 1,000 of you and then the project more than quadrupled 😬) Haha!

5. We will be live on Indiegogo InDemand today & taking pre orders through that platform. So if you know people who missed out, instruct them to go there. We will link our website and the main Kickstarter page to lead to the Indiegogo InDemand page. More to come on this.

Tasty updates below! Last 15 Hours. This has been a wild ride. A wholehearted thank you to everyone of you! <3 For any questions please see the FAQ before messaging me! Happy to help if there are questions beyond that. There are now over 4,000 backers. :)

•  Jane Eyre Revealed & Unlocked
• Count of Monte Cristo Revealed & Unlocked
• The Votes are in, 1887 was the clear winner! (I wanted 1904 though) (*crying) I will reveal that reproduction in the days to come!
• Anne of Green Gables is unlocked! I will reveal it in the days to come as well! 
• IF we hit $230,000 then Wizard of Oz will be ours! Tell your friends & family you Oz lovers!

It is possible, as with the covers of Poe & Jane, that they are too complex for the cloth on such minimal surface area. If that is the case, I will keep you updated and informed :) 

Yay! I think we are now at 27 covers & pushing 28. Thirty days ago I had 12 covers... I blame all of you.

 Hey sages, 

A few big updates here so please read this update :)  

1. Some have been asking about the coin pouch. See the video embedded in the bottom of this update  -What you need to know is we are switching the pocket to the flap side, and the flap side to the pocket side. This modification will hold coins in a superior fashion! 

2. We counted every vote on update #10, and the winner is...

SO please vote from these three options (if you wanted Poe, OR if you like to exercise your ability to vote) They are captioned by year, so vote for the version you prefer by year! In my last update I will reveal the most desired cover. That cover will be available for selection. They are as follows: 1904, 1903, 1887

3. Lastly, here is a screenshot of the updated Stretch Goals! From the get-go we have been told that these bookwallets would be great stocking stuffers and unique presents! This will be the only chance to get bookwallets at these Kickstarter prices, so if you would like to get more than one, just select "Manage My Pledge" to change your selection.  It would be amazing to be able to unlock Anne & Oz!
